What about the men? Do they get lost in the maternity stories? On the day of a child’s birthday, people often ask about the mother and baby, and it seems like the dads kinda get overlooked.
Let’s talk about the dads who stick around during tumultuous
times. The ones who do their fair share of the sleepless nights. The fathers that
change diapers without being asked. Those dads that apply bandages on skinned
knees and applaud both the kindergarten choirs and the high school drama
productions.
Thank you, Dads, who are giving your children and wives
priceless gifts of love and support. You are modeling a vital part of a healthy
family, and giving your sons a morally good pattern to follow. Kudos to you!

My father is absolutely AMAZING! I seriously could not ask for a better dad. He is always there for me and gives me the best advice. He keeps me humble and is the reason I am the woman I am today. He has taught me to value myself, that I can do anything I set my mind to, and has shown me the kind of man I want my husband to be. I love that he still calls me my childhood nickname that he gave me, "princess", even though I'm almost 24, and I was so honored to have him walk me down the aisle at my wedding. The way he loves my mom, brothers, and I is beyond words. I love my dad SO much!

My father has always been my hero and put me and my siblings first before himself. His love for the Lord and his love for my mom have ensured that I have a rich family dynamic where love is never in short supply and the ability to believe that love is forever is not just a dream. This past year my father has grown to be more than just a hero as he has patiently dried my tears, supported me during severe illness, and has always encouraged my hurting heart. I am SUCH a blessed girl to still call my father "daddy" and he will ALWAYS come running to slay all of the monsters!

My husband has a warmth and kindness that overwhelms me when I see him interacting with our boys. I knew he would be good father, but I am impressed beyond all measure. Our boys will be the best of men because of him.

I love my father because he always taught me to work hard for
everything. My father is a hard working man who always strives to do his
best in everything he does + thankfully, he passed that on to me.

My father is one of the most inspirational people in my
life, he is hardworking, dedicated, and has a great amount of passion and
determination. I greatly admire him for all he has done and continues to do for
my mom, sisters, and I!
